Jürgen Berlakovich
Jürgen Berlakovich is an author, musician, and sound artist. He writes, composes, and produces a wide range of works, including novels, essays, film music, radio plays, podcasts, audiocartoons, soundscapes, and songs. Berlakovich combines DNA sonifications and linguistic microparticles with guitar, bass, and electronics for his compositions and improvisations. He leads the JSB Trio and the solo project Takamovsky, is an ensemble member of The Vegetable Orchestra, and was also the co-initiator of the literature and music performance duo Sergej Mohntau. Berlakovich studied German literature and philosophy at the University of Vienna. He developed the concept of Acoustic Poetics and currently teaches it at the sfd-schule für dichtung in Vienna and the Escuela de Escritores in Madrid. Performances and releases are also under the names Juergen Berlakovich, J.S. Berlakovich, and JSB.

Jürgen Berlakovich ist Schriftsteller, Musiker und Klangkünstler. Er schreibt, komponiert und produziert Romane, Essays, Hörspiele, Podcasts, Filmmusik, Audiokarikaturen, Soundscapes und Songs. Er verwendet DNA-Sonifikationen und sprachliche Mikropartikel in Kombination mit Gitarre, Bass und Elektronik für seine Kompositionen und Solo-Konzerte. Er betreibt das JSB Trio, das Solo-Projekt Takamovsky, ist Ensemblemitglied von The Vegetable Orchestra und war Co-Initiator des Literatur- und Musikperformance-Duos Sergej Mohntau. Berlakovich studierte Deutsche Philologie und Philosophie an der Universität Wien. Er unterrichtet das von ihm entwickelte Konzept der „Akustischen Poetiken“ an der „sfd-schule für dichtung“ in Wien und an der „Escuela de Escritores“ in Madrid.
